Urban Meyer Has A Message For the Michigan Football Program – The Spun

On Thursday night, country singer Luke Combs performed at a benefit concert in Dublin, Ohio.

What does that have to do with former Ohio State head coach Urban Meyer?

Well, the Ohio native hopped on stage before the concert kicked off to get the crowd going. Like any good coach, Meyer got the crowd to come together with a strong message for the Michigan football program.

“Cause we’re gonna bring it. I’m gonna say ‘O-H’ and you’re going to say ‘I-O’ and I want them to hear it up North,” Meyer said to the crowd before delivering the “O-H-I-O chant.

Check it out.

It’s clear there’s no love lost for The Team Up North.

Meyer’s comments for the Michigan football program came after Jim Harbaugh made headlines for his comments about Urban Meyer.

“Urban Meyer’s had a winning record. Really phenomenal record everywhere he’s been. But also, controversy follows everywhere he’s been,” Harbaugh said earlier this week at Big Ten media days.

Even though Meyer is gone from Ohio State, the hate between he and Harbaugh lives on.

Meyer can hold on to the fact that he never lost to Harbaugh during his tenure with the Buckeyes – a perfect 4-0 record.
