Radiohead’s headlining gig at Coachella was filled with exit music.
The band was forced to walk off stage at two different times because of extreme technical sound difficulties that left thousands of festival-goers unable to hear the group’s famous jams.
“Please fix sound,” one attendee pleaded to Coachella on Twitter. “Felt bad for #Radiohead rocking out to #15steps for their fans yet we couldnt hear them…..”
Videos from the concert show the band rocking out on stage, but only lead singer Thom Yorke’s voice can be heard as everything else fades away.

The crowd then began to yell out, “no!” once realizing what had happened.

The first technical issue occurred during “Ful Stop,” according to Pitchfork, and the second lasted for most of “15 Step.”
Yorke blamed the issues on aliens.
“F–king aliens again,” he told the crowd as it happened a second time.

Eventually, the group returned to the stage and Yorke asked “Can you actually hear me now?”
The show went on despite the technical difficulties.

The show went on and Radiohead played the classic tune “Creep” — which they rarely perform live.
“Radiohead actually played Creep last night at Coachella,” one attendee wrote. “As big a rarity as it gets.”
Coachella kicked off in Indio, Calif., on Friday and will run through April 23. Other headliners include Lady Gaga, Kendrick Lamar, Lorde and The xx.

Beyoncé was an initial headliner for the event, but was replaced by Lady Gaga after she had to back out because of her pregnancy.
