Teams like the then-No. 6 Wisconsin Badgers and the then-No. 14 Boise State Broncos fell to unranked opponents and dropped significantly in the Week 9 AP Top 25 Poll. And while some of the teams in the upper half of the top 10 — such as No. 6 Penn State and No. 7 Florida — bolstered their cases for being amongst the best in the nation, the top four teams remain steadfast and undefeated.

The Big Ten leads all conferences with six teams in the top 25, while the SEC boasts the top two teams and five of the top 10 in the poll.
