All Of ‘Captain America: Civil War’s’ Trailers Have Been Edited Into Chronological Order – moviepilot.com

(Warning – the chronological nature of the video below could, in theory, make it — and this article — far more SPOILER-ific than the original trailers on which it is based. Proceed with caution and all that…)

Now, when done right, movie trailers can be wonderful things. When they find the perfect blend of plot teasing and mystery retention, those two-minute slices of cinema heaven can draw us in like almost nothing else — shining a light on great films and obscuring the deficiencies of terrible ones. When executed badly, however, they can spoil a movie — and its box office chances — all by themselves.

One Glorious Fan Has Edited All The ‘Civil War’ Footage We’ve Seen So Far Into One Epic (Chronological) Trailer

Yup, that’s right. Thanks to the efforts of intrepid YouTuber JohnnyB2K, you can now watch the (little under three minutes of) footage we’ve seen thus far in what may or may not be the order it’ll appear in the finished film.

Which might just be wishful thinking, but here’s hoping it’s true.

Cap’s Going to Get Dragged Into At Least Two Meetings He Doesn’t Want Anything To Do With

In the second of which it seems he’ll be losing his shield…

And, best of all?

It Seems We May Have Only Seen Footage From Two-Thirds Of The Film (Or Less)

After all, it sure does seem as though there’ll be a whole lot more to come after that airport standoff…

However things pan out in the final movie, that’s some fantastic re-editing all the same. Nicely played, JohnnyB2K. Nicely played…

What do you think, though?
