Due to the barrage of wintry weather, it will be a cold day with most parts of the UK not exceeding five degrees.
Mr Deakin warned: “It’s likely to be icy for Wednesday morning’s commute.
“For many though, Wednesday is a dry and bright day.
“A frosty start yes but then plenty of sunshine.”
Although it will be a bright day with less sleet and snow on Wednesday it will continue to be a bitterly cold day.
Mr Deakin added temperatures could become a bit milder as we go into Thursday and Friday.
The weather expert concluded: “For the next few days we’ll have frosty night, icy conditions and there will be wintry showers.”
