UCLA Football: The new Under Armour uniforms have been unveiled – Go Joe Bruin

Under Armour has just revealed the newest home and away UCLA Football uniforms, which have made a few changes from the Adidas years.

The new UCLA Football uniforms have been unveiled by Under Armour and at first glance, they look quite sharp.

With Under Armour taking over as the apparel provider for UCLA Athletics back on July 1, the company only revealed a few tidbits in regards to their rebranding, including logos and color schemes (and pricing, ouch).

UA and UCLA were waiting until today to reveal even more  of what the apparel provider has in store for UCLA, and with that, UCLA now has their new unis…

The first thing I noticed about the uniforms are the colors. Under Armour has now gone with “powder keg blue” and gold as the colors which are consistent on both home and away uniforms.

For the home uniforms, the Bruins seem to have returned to the gold pants, which is more in line with the traditional uniforms and is definitely more appealing than the yellow pants they have sported the last few seasons.

Both jerseys also have gotten the shoulder stripe correct, which is a traditional staple of the UCLA Football uniform.

Unfortunately, UA decided to go away from tradition with the number as they are using block lettering rather than Clarendon.

UCLA will also stay with the all-white away uniform which, in this writer’s opinion, looks better than the white top-gold pants combo they wore before Jim Mora took over.

UCLA will also be sporting some gold cleated shoes which have a very sleek look to them.

Overall, UA has delivered a stylish product, but we are also interested in what UCLA fans think. Stay with Go Joe Bruin as we cover reactions to the unveiling of the new uniforms.
