Ghanaian striker Mohammed Anas has accidentally thanked his wife “and girlfriend” in a post-match interview.

The blunder happened as he accepted his man of the match award after scoring both goals for the Free State Stars in a 2-2 draw at Ajax Cape Town.

He told the BBC he was referring to his daughter, who he says he calls “his girlfriend”.
